Panel Beating
Panels reshaped, replaced and re-aligned so gaps and body lines sit true again.
Making a claim doesn't mean losing the choice of who repairs your car — many policies let you nominate your own repairer. We deal with assessors, authorities and the paperwork every day, and quote the job the same way whether you're claiming or paying yourself.

Your policy — not your insurer's call centre — decides who repairs your car.
Many insurance policies let you choose your own repairer, or ask your insurer to approve one. If yours does, you can request Southern Autos Repaint & Panel at 21 Machinery Drive, Tweed Heads South — check your policy or ask us and we'll tell you what to say.
We're not a preferred or approved repairer for any particular insurer, and we don't claim to be — what we do have is a workshop that deals with assessors, authorities and claim paperwork as a normal part of the week, and can walk you through what your insurer needs from you.
Panel, paint and structural work all happen here under one roof, so your car is only ever in one set of hands while the claim runs its course.
Bring the car in or send photos and your rego. We put together a written quote for the assessor.
Quotes, photos and updates go where your insurer needs them — you don't have to chase it yourself.
Once the claim is approved, we book the car in and get to work — panel, paint and structural, all in-house.
You get a walk-around of the repair and the paperwork for your records before you drive away.
Panels reshaped, replaced and re-aligned so gaps and body lines sit true again.
Computerised colour matching, water-based paints, finished in our own booth.
Paying your own way or going through your insurer, you get the same quote and the same standard of work.
Photos, written quotes, supplementary reports if the damage turns out to run deeper than first thought — it's paperwork we do every week, not a special process we invent for insurance work.
Licensed (MVRL #49698), with a written quote before anything is pulled apart.
Running a fleet? One point of contact and one written quote for every vehicle on your account.
A handful of vehicles or a growing fleet — one workshop, one point of contact, every time.
Licensed, insured and documented repairs for NSW Government, council and emergency services vehicles.
Chip or crack in the glass? We replace windscreens too, alongside the rest of the repair.
Bring the car and your policy details, or send photos first — we'll tell you what your insurer will need.

Send a few photos and your policy details, or bring the car in. Written quote, no obligation — insurance and private work quoted the same way.
