What we collect through this website, what we do with it, and how to ask us to remove it.
This policy explains what personal information Southern Autos Repaint & Panel collects through this website, how it is used and stored, and how you can ask to see or delete it. It covers this website only — not information collected in the workshop or over the phone.
What we collect
The only place this site collects personal information is the quote request form. When you use it, you choose to give us:
- —your name and phone number (required, so we can respond)
- —your email address, if you provide one
- —your vehicle and registration, if you provide them
- —the service you think you need, and your description of the damage
We do not require you to create an account, and this site does not sell or share your information with anyone for marketing.
How the form works
When you submit the form it is sent by email to our workshop inbox using Resend, an email delivery provider. Resend is based in the United States, which means your enquiry is transmitted overseas in the course of being delivered to us. We use it only to deliver the message — it is not used to build a marketing list.
The form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions come from a person rather than an automated script. Turnstile does not read what you type into the form.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our email and, if the job goes ahead, in our workshop management system as part of your repair record. Repair records are kept as long as we need them for warranty, insurance and tax purposes. Enquiries that do not turn into a job are not kept indefinitely.
Asking to see or delete your information
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Ring (07) 5524 4910 or email admin@repaintandpanel.com.au and we will help. If we cannot delete something — because we are required to keep a repair record, for example — we will tell you why.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how it is used — pages viewed, how visitors arrived, device and browser type, and approximate location. It sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies to do this. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses, and we do not use it for advertising features, remarketing or cross-site tracking, or to identify anyone personally. This data is processed by Google and may be stored on servers outside Australia. You can opt out through your browser’s cookie settings or Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and the bot check is provided by Cloudflare; both are standard third-party services used to make the site work.
Our contact and service-area pages embed a Google map so you can find the workshop. Loading that map sends your IP address to Google and Google may set its own cookies in your browser, under Google’s privacy policy rather than ours. If you would rather not load it, our address is on every page and you are welcome to ring us instead.
Changes
If we change how the form works or what we do with enquiries, we will update this page.
